Who Can Benefit From Anti-Snoring Sprays?
Anti-Snoring sprays are sprays that you spray into the back of your throat to help you stop snoring. These rather interesting and unique stop snoring remedies used to be a lot more popular than they are today—but they are still around, and you can find them rather easily at the pharmacy and online.
As for who can benefit from them, they are intended for anyone (usually over the age of 18) who has a snoring problem who doesn’t want to use a more invasive option (like MADs or TSDs) to solve the issue.
The main selling points to anti snoring throat sprays are that they are easy to use, convenient, and minimally invasive. But they also have downsides… the biggest one being that they may not work as often as some other stop snoring methods.
How Are They Meant To Work?
Anti-Snoring sprays work in a couple of different kinds of ways. Some sprays are formulated to open up the nasal passages, making it easier to breathe through your nose. Others are formulated to clear sinus congestion. And still others are formulated to help alleviate inflammation and/or to lubricate the airway.
Of course, the best anti snoring throat sprays are those which utilize more than one method for eliminating snoring. Some of the best ones are also all-natural, non-drowsy, and even tested and recommended by doctors.
One example that you may have seen at your local pharmacy is the SnoreStop NasoSpray.
Do We Believe That Anti-Snoring Sprays Can Help?
Anti Snoring sprays can absolutely help, but we have heard mixed reviews about them. In general, it doesn’t sound like they work quite as well as some of our other more favorite types of devices, like MADs or TSDs. But, with that being said, there are some people who swear by them—and the fact that they are so convenient, easy to get, and cheap to buy are all upsides.
Who Could Benefit From A Product Like This?
This product is best suited to people who want an easy, hassle-free stop snoring option. If you don’t like the idea of using a mouthpiece, don’t like the idea of wearing a chin strap, and are even a bit off-put by nasal strips, then this is probably a good place to start.
Using these sprays is super easy. Just give your throat a couple of quick sprays before bed. That’s it. Most of them don’t even taste that bad, which is pretty awesome!
Who Should Avoid Using Anti Snoring Sprays?
Most throat sprays do come with a warning label that tells you to keep them out of the reach of children. And as a general rule, unless otherwise specified, it is our understanding that children are not really supposed to use these products unless the product says that it is safe for children, or a doctor says that a specific product is safe for younger people to use.
Consumer Views Found Online
There are a lot of conflicting reviews about anti snoring throat sprays online. Some people say that they work, and some say that they don’t. Our own experiences with these types of products mirror this. We have found some products that work, and we have found some that don’t work as well—but mostly, we have found that these products will usually work for some people, but not for everyone.
You really need to test it before you can say for sure. There is no way to be certain that an anti snoring spray will work for you or not unless you give one or two different types a try.
How Much Should I Spend Buying An Anti-Snoring Spray?
Most anti snoring sprays cost around $12, depending on where you buy them. We’ve seen them run as high as about $23, but for the most part, you will be hard pressed to find something more expensive than this in this category. We’ve also seen products priced as cheaply as $9, which is pretty awesome.
Some people use nasal spray before bed in an attempt to accomplish the same thing. It is worth mentioning that this is a little bit different—but that it can still actually help you to stop snoring and to rest better in some cases. And you can buy off-brand nasal spray for $3 at some stores!
What Are Some Possible Alternatives?
If you are looking for something kind of similar to anti snoring throat sprays, then anything that has to do with aromatherapy could potentially be an option. Essential oils are great for this. You could also try stop snoring tablets. These don’t tend to work as well as the sprays, but they can still work—and in some cases, might even be better!
In the end, anti-snoring throat sprays are not our favorite snoring remedy. We have seen better results with other products, and would probably recommend some other options before we would say to try this.
But, with that being said, this is an excellent option for some people—and we love the idea of how convenient snoring throat sprays can be. So if you are looking mostly for convenience and ease of use, then this is the type of product that you might want to try first—just to see if it may do the trick for you.
